It’s been a long, fairly boring week in Tulsa. Once we were finished with the show business, there was not much on my agenda. The only thing I really had to accomplish was get Jorge down to the airport in Oklahoma City for his Thursday morning flight to south Texas. Of course the weather had to take a turn for the cold. The snow they were calling for didn’t come but just in anticipation of it, they called off school here for two days. Though not as bad as it was everywhere else in the country, we did have to suffer thru some frigid minus zero temps this week. Rocky and I are on our own for yet another week while Jorge spends time visiting his mother and lots of other family. Boredom is turning out to be beneficial as I’ve started my spring cleaning early. Might as well do something constructive so I’m cleaning cabinets and anything else I can find in that needs cleaning in the truck. Also, we upgraded our TV this week and now have a 26”screen. That's not all that big but seems huge when it’s hanging right over your feet. It’s almost like being in the movie theater.
My mission tonight is to drive down to Oklahoma City- the next stop for ‘Legally Blonde’. It’s just a short 100 miles and then my work is done for the week. Rocky and I will camp out there and wait for the show to play - and for Jorge to rejoin our team. I intend to start preparing for tax time by going thru the oodles of receipts we’ve collected over the past year and that should keep me busy for a least a couple days.
Because of my self-imposed hibernation this week, I didn’t get out and take any pictures. However I’m adding a video of Rocky at one of our recent meals in the truck. He’s a very spoiled hound dog - he even has his own plate and silverware - not to mention his excellent table manners!
