This week was pretty uneventful as we had six days to travel about 400 miles over to Providence. I was back to liking the job again – i.e. sitting around with nothing I really had to do.
We loaded up ‘Jersey Boys’ at the Providence Performing Art Center last evening and drove the short 900 miles to Indianapolis. Our route took us right thru Englewood, Ohio where we have all our stuff, including the car, in storage so we got a chance to check on it. We were glad to see the trailer it’s stored on seems to be keeping it all nice and dry. Another plus, we got to pick up our mail for the first time in six weeks. That’s always fun – sorting thru bills that have already been paid and sale flyers that are long expired. Now that we have our house rented and we’re officially no longer residents of Ohio - not that we ever really were – we’re changing our address back to Las Vegas and consolidating our mail to one location. Our new mailing address will be 4745 Dream Catcher Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89129.
We’re working our way back out west to LA. We’re hoping our route will wind thru Vegas for a day or two this week. The mission will be to take ‘Lion King’ from LA to Portland, Oregon this coming weekend.

The Providence theater was not far from the state capitol building. We've been seeing our share of capitol buildings lately but don't think I'd ever seen the the one from Rhode Island. Next to Rocky, my next favorite subject to take photos of is our truck. A big thunderstorm had just rolled thru Connecticut when we stopped at this rest area. For just a fleeting moment the sun peaked thru the clouds and gave us a beautiful sunset ~ and the truck just happened to get in shot.
