We’re back in Miami tonight after a nice few days in Nashville last week. Once we finished our work in Boston- and yes, it snowed- we headed south. It's a place we go thru often but hardly ever get to spend time in. We met and married in Nashville and we both lived there for many years and so it's always fun to go back and see what's changed and what still looks exactly the same. About a year and a half ago my mother moved down to Franklin, just south of Nashville, and recently married the guy nearly next door. So we spent some time with the newlyweds this week, including a trip to the Grand Ole Opry. Early this morning about 2am we left Nashville and drove mostly nonstop thru heavy rains and arrived here in Miami about 5pm. I'm going to make a suggestion that they change the name of their basketball team here from the Miami Heat to the more appropriate Miami Humidity. Whew! Good thing we just got our air conditioning repaired last week becasue we sure do need it here.
Our marching orders have us picking up another trailer here in Miami this week and heading back up to Pennsylvania. It's so nice to see spring popping out in so many places around the country.
Here are some pictures we took of our time in Tennessee this week...
